Large bronze by Paul Dubois (born in France in 1829 and died in 1905). Mid 19th century. Bronze with green patina representing a shepherd calling the animals back, his dog attentively at his feet. Wearing clogs, he is dressed in a large overcoat and a wide-brimmed hat to protect him from the elements. Slight signs of oxidation. Very good condition. Bronze base signed "P. Dubois".
