"Louis XVI Period Souvenir Case"
18th century case.It is made up of two parts entirely covered in shagreen.
The lid is decorated with the words "souvenirs d'amité".
The body is set in a medallion with a gouache representing washerwomen.
The interior is in speckled tortoiseshell.
The mount is in hallmarked silver.
The shagreen is split on one side.
