"Saint Bruno"
Beautiful gouache on vellum from the 18th century, representing Saint Bruno, after having been a schoolteacher from the age of 24 he left his duties to create the Carthusian order then retired and tried a hermit life, our gouache represents him in his hermitage of which he said "How to depict this perpetual feast where we already savor the fruits of heaven".
