"Pair Of Silver-plated Bronze Candlesticks From The Marnyhac House, 19th Century"

Pair of two-light silver-plated bronze candlesticks dating from the end of the 19th century. The shaft is shaped like a tree trunk and the base has claw feet decorated with palmettes. At the top are two light arms and an owl in the middle. The candlesticks are signed on the sides of the base "Marnyhac" "1 rue dela paix". Significant wear to the silver plating is to be noted (see photos).
