Graphic, elegant, and well-proportioned, this Danish sideboard from the 1960s is crafted from teak and teak veneer over slatted wood. Its design highlights the clean lines and functional simplicity characteristic of post-war Scandinavian furniture.
It opens with two drawers and two sliding doors that reveal storage space with interior shelving, along with a drop-down door that provides access to a glass shelf—ideal for storing glassware or bar accessories.
The sideboard shows a slight swelling of the wood along the top edge, as well as traces of use and a beautiful patina of time, all visible in the photos. Nonetheless, it remains in good overall condition—sturdy, visually appealing, and of very fine craftsmanship.
A perfect example of Danish mid-century craftsmanship.
