Beautiful scalloped tray in silver-plated metal, Ruolz process (35 to 50% copper, 25 to 40% nickel, 25% silver), the molded border decorated with floral and scrollwork labels, the rocaille-style handles decorated with cabochons and acanthus leaves, the center engraved with a coat of arms flanked by greyhounds under a baron's tortil, on a background of wavelets, flowers and foliage (small scratches from use).
Napoleon III period.
