Antwerp Tortoiseshell Table Cabinet, Late 17th Century, Circa 1700 - Flanders - Antwerp
Beautiful Antwerp cabinet in walnut, rosewood, ebony, and red tortoiseshell, Antwerp circa 1700. Opening with eight drawers on the front and a central leaf decorated with a stylized temple with columns and arches revealing five drawers. The sides in veneered wood with diamond decoration, falling iron handles. Rich gilt bronze ornamentation, in good condition, some small old restorations. Presentation table in modern blackened wood. Total height: 145 cm, width 122 cm Cabinet dimensions: H 73 x W 117 x 42 cm
