Flemish-style Walnut Cabinet, 19th Century
Inspired by 17th-century Flemish cabinets, this piece combines walnut, red tortoiseshell, and bronze plates. Its richly detailed front features eight side drawers and a central door that opens to reveal five drawers. Framed by small columns and adorned with a bronze figure, the door is set within a refined architectural design. An openwork cornice crowns the piece, while its carved legs complete its silhouette. The contrast between the dark walnut, the flecks of red tortoiseshell, and the bronze elements gives it a distinctive presence.
