Important oval-shaped covered vegetable dish in silver-plated metal with four rims, decorated with fine edging.
The body features four wide pinched ribs, echoed on the domed lid with a molded curve. The entire piece rests on a molded footring. The lid handle is finely decorated with a leafy scroll in cast metal, topped with a sculpted artichoke-shaped finial.
Likely English workmanship, 20th century.
