"Rare “napoleon In Front Of Moscow” Tête-à-tête Service In Enamelled And Gilded Porcelain, Signed And Numbered"
Rare complete set of two cups and saucers, a teapot, a sugar bowl and its matching tray, in fine porcelain with an imperial purple background enhanced with gold. Each piece is decorated with a painted historical scene representing Napoleon during the Russian campaign (1812). All pieces bear on the reverse the imperial mark "N" crowned, the mention Napoleon in front of Moscow, and a serial number: 0433 / B 695 / 13 / 1003. High quality work, probably made around 1950-1980 in a limited series for collectors. Excellent general condition. Matching signed tray, identical central decoration. Dimensions: Tray 37 x 24 cm
