Bronze bust titled "Saïda", late 19th century. It depicts a young oriental girl, wearing Berber hair and jewelry. Emmanuel Villanis (1858/1914) was born in Lille to Italian parents. He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français from 1886 to 1910. Foundry stamp: Société des Bronzes de Paris, Villanis signature on the shoulder.
