Large 19th century Empire style solid mahogany mirror. Adorned with rich, finely chiseled gilt bronze decorations. The cornice is topped with a pediment decorated with a gilt bronze Medusa head, an emblematic motif of the neoclassical repertoire. The side uprights feature female busts and gilt bronze floral garlands ending in clogs.
