Sofa or daybed, with two slanted side posts, spindle legs, rosettes carved into the connecting dice. Two-seater model, it is called confidant. French-varnished mahogany, it is upholstered in lemon-yellow lined silk (Maison Lelièvre) enhanced with black trimmings. Parisian work from the Directoire period around 1795-1800, attributed to Georges Jacob. Beautiful model, very elegant. Two-seater, it has a limited footprint and can fit into an alcove. Veneered on all sides, it can also be placed in the center of a room or perpendicular to a wall. We had this beautiful amateur seat covered with this silk, of which we have a large quantity.
