"Expressive Bébé Jumeau With Unusual M Marking"
This appealing bébé by Société Jumeau has a poured bisque head with quality pale complexion (note a firing mark inside the head with no hairline or restauration), marked M8, made on special order by Parisian Department Stores, fully articulated wooden and compo body, “blue stamp Jumeau médaille d’or in the back” (note some non-professional finish touch ups at the hands and one arm), factory original chemise (seriously worn), fantastic antique mariner outfit in deep blue with white trimming, antique shoes and socks, around 1892-1895.
