"Nuremberg Snuffers, 16th-17th Century "
bronze or brass snuffers fitted with a square-shaped cage decorated with the lion of Saint Mark, with two grips reinforced by balusters, the edge of the cage decorated with stamped alternating flowers, the crushing plate is punched with scissors or snuffers, mark of a Nuremberg manufacturer. Good condition, some wear from use, but complete and perfectly usable. Similar model in the Michel Rulier collection, Fraysse et associés sale October 2022. Length: 17.4 cm
