This portrait depicts a gentleman of quality wearing an embroidered jerkin and a white shirt with fine lace. The green drapery, with blue tones, falls from his shoulder in an elegant movement. His rosy face contrasts with the skillfully powdered wig. Oil on oval canvas, original canvas. Louis XV period H. 107 cm x W. 86.5 cm. Restorations; 18th century carved and gilded wooden frame. Later stretcher.
