MoreauHeight: 54.5 cmWeight: 8.9 kg Mathurin Moreau, born in Dijon on November 18, 1822, was admitted to the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1841. He won the second Prix de Rome in 1842. He received a second-class medal at the 1855 Universal Exhibition in Paris, then a first-class medal in 1878. In 1897, for his last participation in the exhibition, he was awarded a medal of honor. Mathurin Moreau's brilliant career earned him numerous official commissions.
