Vintage Timor stainless steel military watch, specifically designed for the British Ministry of Defence (MoD). This model features a caliber 6060 small seconds hand and is powered by a hand-wound movement. Its original matte black dial is in excellent condition, bearing Arabic numerals stamped "Broad Arrow," indicating its military provenance, as well as luminescent hands and hour markers. The brushed steel, two-piece, unpolished case features a screw-down caseback with the WWW (Watch Wristlet Waterproof) logo and military serial numbers. Its dimensions are 36 mm (excluding crown) by 45 mm (including lugs), with a signed and numbered mechanism. During World War II, approximately 13,000 Timor WWW watches were produced for the British Army. This explains why original examples in good condition are highly sought after by collectors and can be difficult to find.
