Burmese Buddha head in black dry lacquer. The head has an enigmatic and smiling expression. Half-closed eyes, a straight nose, and well-defined eyebrows. At the hairline, glass inlays of different colors. The hair is in the Burmese "durian thorn" style. A hole at the top of the head where an usnisha was likely located. The ears have long lobes. Remains of red paint and gold leaf gilding. From a private collection.
