" Empire Period "bridge" Coffee Table Or Bedside Table In Mahogany, Early 19th Century"
Empire mahogany coffee table or bedside table, mahogany veneer, gray Hainaut marble top. Mounted on columns and shaped like a "bridge", our table is veneered on all sides with french polish mahogany, gilt bronze trim. It opens with 3 drawers and has retained its pretty original key. Late Empire period, 1810s. Veneered on all sides, our table is well suited to use as a coffee table in the center of a room or as a bedside table. It is lower than a usual Empire bedside table, which makes it very suitable for use with today's lower beds. Our table is in excellent condition; the old french polish has been cleaned and repolished by our cabinetmaker. No accidents or missing parts. Width: 42.5cm Depth: 33cm Height: 71cm
