Piero Fornasetti – Tableware – Porcelain Design

Piero Fornasetti (Milan 1913-1988). Set of eight porcelain coasters with a gilded background enhanced with a black printed motif on the theme of music in the taste of antiquity, wind and string instruments, decorated with figures, animals and ribbons. The series is complete, created and produced during the artist's lifetime during the 70s. It is therefore not a recent reissue but an original creation. Each cup is marked on the back ''Fornasetti-Milano - Made in Italy'', protected by the original embossed and gilded cardboard slipcase, also marked under the base (see photos). Almost perfect condition apart from a few barely visible micro-scratches. No chips, cracks or stains. Creation from the 1970s.
