Large Art Deco vase circa 1930 signed - Daum ☨ Nancy France - featuring an elegant ovoid shape adorned with a wide, bulging neck, the whole resting on a circular pedestal base. Rich Art Deco composition in thick honey-colored glass enlivened with a Modernist decoration in deep acid-etched incisions depicting foliage and berries on branches. very good condition, dimensions: 22 cm high X 18 cm in diameter. Note the strong resemblance to a vase currently sold for €11,300 in reissue at Daum in honor of the 140th anniversary of the Daum Manufacture, to reinterpret the Art Deco style of the 1930s Daum wished to pay tribute to the second strong movement of French Decorative Arts in which Daum inscribed its name forever.
