Large Planter, Blond Oak And Cane, Late 19th Century.
The oblong planter has four caned sides and a neck carved with a ribbon motif. It is supported by four arched and counter-arched legs, decorated with long acanthus leaves. A "scale" motif is repeated to the end of the legs, with slight 'scrolls'. At the bottom, an oval, caned shelf joins the four legs. Pretty planter in blond oak, in perfect original condition.
