This painting depicts a man in bust, positioned three-quarters, his body turned to the left while his face is directed towards the viewer. The man is dressed in an elegant red coat with gold buttons. The cuffs, as well as the collar of his coat, are decorated with white lace. He holds in his right hand a cane knob, suggesting a high social status. His powdered headdress is carefully crafted. The portrait places the man it represents outdoors. The painting is in good general condition, one can observe small areas devoid of paint.
