We present a rare and remarkable pair of large armchairs from the early 19th century, made of solid cherry wood in the Consulate style. Dated between 1820 and 1830, these seats impress with their classic silhouette, typical of the Empire period — sober and imposing lines, ornaments inspired by antiquity. The armchairs have a solid structure and generous dimensions: Height: 102 cm | Width: 69 cm | Depth: 64 cm They are upholstered in a carefully chosen later fabric in a dark and elegant shade, perfectly in harmony with the noble character of the period.
