Polychrome Delft Tiles
Lot of 30 magnificent old painted ceramic tiles. 30 totally different patterns, ranging from the representation of characters in various bucolic or equestrian situations, through representations of several kinds of birds in parade, while offering pretty drawings of boats in full sail. Each tile is unique. The pigments found are 5 in number: green, brown, brown, yellow and of course the typical Delft blue, all on a cracked white background. These are real museum pieces.
