"Watercolor Painting Poissy By Edouard Daliphard 1833 - 1877"
Watercolor "the passage of Migneaux near Poissy. Watercolor after the painting of the Paris Salon". This is the Salon of 1872 Edouard DALIPHARD 1833 - 1877 Rouen A student of Morin, he lived at 1, rue de Paris in Poissy in the 1860s, then at 18, rue de la Glacière in Paris. He received a 3rd class medal at the Salon of 1873. He exhibited three paintings at the Salon of 1874: Spring in the Cemetery (Blangy Cemetery), Notre-Dame de Paris and The Seine at the Juziers Ferry. In 1875, he presented Melancholy there, which earned him a medal and was acquired by the Museum of Fine Arts in Rouen. He exhibited a Village Entrance at Dusk at the Salon of 1876. In 1877, he was a member of the Rouen circle of the League of Education.

Dimensions of the watercolor: approximately 27 X 35. Frame dimensions: 53 x 60 cm. Good condition of the watercolor, frame with some missing parts, some repainting, otherwise old gilding.
