Object description :

""equateur" Hermes Square Illustrated By Robert Dallet In 1988 For The House Of Hermes In Paris"
A source of inspiration for the naturalist and self-taught Robert Dallet, who introduces us to this beautiful scarf, the solitary jaguar, the ocelot and the margay, felines of great finesse. Dominating the scene, spider monkeys, sloths and toucans frolic in the ballet of macaws, parakeets, cock-of-the-rocks, sapajou, woolly monkeys, from South America, not to mention the caurole with outstretched wings, the pink patulas and the scarlet ibis. This scarf, published in 1988, reissued in 2013 in silk twill with hand-rolled edges and navy blue borders, is available on an ivory background in a range of bright and shimmering colors. The title of the House of Hermès appears centered at the top, while the name of this work is centered at the bottom. We find the illustrator's signature at the bottom right and the copyright at the top left. Sought after by collectors, this square is in good original, used and preserved condition (see details in the photos). No holes or stains. Dimensions: 89 x 90 cms. Free shipping for France.
