Beautiful three-door bookcase in mahogany marquetry, fillets and gilt bronze. Pediment with projections and inverted cavetto. Cornice with inlaid reserves, rectangles with curved corners, fleurons and pearls. Flat uprights with laurel falls and volutes. Paneled exterior doors with grilles, large central beveled glass door. Inlaid diamonds and Greek frets, rosettes in spandrels. Sides and small doors with quatrefoil marquetry. Sheathed feet with sabots. Oak backs and shelves. Made in Faubourg-Saint-Antoine, circa 1880.
