Artist: Abel Landry Pour "la Maison Moderne"
Large double-sided desk with molded and carved solid walnut pedestals. It features a large raised top covered in brown leather, the front opens with four drawers and a compartmentalized niche across, the left pedestal has an overhanging plan file. The back opens with a drawer, a niche and a retractable shelf in trompe l'oeil on the molding. It rests on eight curved legs and features flat bands, handles and keys in gilded bronze. The leather has been replaced identically by our professional upholsterer. Very fine quality of cabinetmaking and superb waxed finish. Abel Landry for "La maison Moderne" by Meier-Graefe in Paris.
