"An Italian. Paul Vallois."
Paul Felix Vallois was an artist born in Rouen. The Benezit does not mention his dates. He was a student of Léon Bonnat and Arsène Rivey. He exhibited at the Salon from 1876 to 1882. He painted Norman ports, banks of the Seine, and undergrowth in silvery tones. Bibliography: Gerald Schurr: The Little Masters of Painting. Works preserved at the Louviers Museum.
