Pair of cherry wood chairs with straw seats, straight legs, crotch bars, curved backrest. The panel of this one is carved and openwork: decoration with the arms of France, medallion with fleurs-de-lis flanked by palms and surmounted by a closed crown. Seat depth 39 cm. Wood in good condition, special feature: one of the two chairs is 2.5 cm lower. (The dimensions given are of the tallest.) Work from the first third of the 19th century.
