Large
mirror with glazing beads and a Louis XIV period ebonized wood frame
veneered with embossed brass.
This
model features a triangular pediment richly decorated with floral
scrollwork, bunches of grapes, and a monogram topped with a crown.
This
exuberant decoration is echoed on the partially openwork brass
plaques. The crowned monogram is reproduced on two small side plaques
as well as on each of the four spandrels.
This
highly decorative mirror features beveled mercury glass and period
hanging hooks.
The
parquet flooring is also original.
