"19th Century Camphor Trunk"
Beautiful rectangular trunk in camphor wood, typical of the travel furniture intended for the British colonies in Asia during the second half of the 19th century. The trunk is equipped with its original lock, with a round entrance, still functional and accompanied by its key, an element rarely preserved. The interior, left raw, still gives off a slight characteristic smell of camphor. Good condition for this example of travel luggage for civil or military use in the British colonial context.
