Origin France Period early 19th Probably a wedding scene because we can see 2 figures forming a newlywed couple in the foreground. A churchman overlooks them next to a cross-shaped monument near the chapel. Canvas to be restored deserving a major cleaning because very dirty presenting cracks in the varnish but also some cracks on the canvas at the bottom. Format 40.5 / 32cm
