Louis XIV chest of drawers in blackened oak, 18th century. Topped with a curved front, it opens with three drawers in three rows framed by rounded molded uprights ending in straight feet. The base crosspiece receives a curved and molded cornice. The sides are paneled in gendarme hat. This chest of drawers with racy lines will fit equally well in a classic interior as in a more contemporary one.
Good condition, restorations of use and maintenance, notably at the ends of the feet, recovery of the later black patina.
