Like a crocodile! Like them, it represents the first of its kind that has remained unchanged, the arcile is the piece of furniture par excellence and rare, this one even curved on the top.
The fascinating construction technique does not include screws or nails, but exclusively wooden joints and dowels, used to join and support the hand-planed planks.
All further embellished with carved decorations, including the characteristic "Celtic Rose"... or "Sun of the Alps".
Intact in structure and patina, in beech wood, from the full 19th century, it has only one defect: it costs little.
