The rooster designed by Vacchetti is a mixture of fantasy and reality: it combines natural elements with abstract patterns in the feathers, giving it an ornamental quality, while the colors and details of the legs and eyes are realistic. There are many variants of this piece: the one under consideration can be found in Lenci's merchandise catalog from 1933 to 1935
