Pewter shouldered pitcher, cylindrical body, quarter-round cup and thumb with two-sided palmette.
Height: 22.2 cm.
TOURS or nearby region, 18th century.

In good condition, the lid has been (very skillfully) replaced. This explains the absence of marking which was most likely affixed there.
The cylindrical body, the goblet and the quarter-round foot and the two-sided palmette thumbpiece with 7 rays, are characteristic of the typology of this center and neighboring localities.
These pitchers were the official wine measures of the Ancien Régime.
