"China Kangxi Period Gourd-shaped Sprinkler"
Large deep blue enameled porcelain sprinkler in the shape of a gourd resting on a pedestal. The neck is mounted in silver with a niello decoration. Traces of an old decoration, probably gilded, can be seen on the body of the object, but this decoration has completely disappeared. The size of this sprinkler is larger than usual, which suggests that the mounting does not hide a fracture of the neck.
