"Bronze Sculpture Of A Russian Or Oriental Dancer, Paul Philippe."
Bronze sculpture from the early 20th century, around 1920, Art Deco, representing a dancer by Paul Philippe. Very pretty polychrome patinated sculpture with a beautiful original patina in excellent condition and a very beautiful quality of chiseling for this well-known and listed piece by this great artist. Born in 1870, died in 1930, he worked across two centuries and skillfully approached the Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles. Nice size, total height with base 29.5 cm and sculpture alone 19 cm. Note the original character of the golden patina combined with the deep black which gives the sculpture a very decorative side. Signature of the artist under the dancer's foot. Possibility of sending in France and worldwide by secure and insured package with order tracking. Invoice and certificate provided.
