Very interesting painting by Gabriel Biessy 1854-1935. Student of Felix Clement, returned to the studio of Carolus Duran in 1879. Here is a very beautiful representation of his talent with this oil on canvas representing a still life with melon, grapes, peach and nuts in its original patina, not cleaned. Sold in its own juice! In very good condition! Format of 42x32 cm with its frame and 35x27 cm without. Very nice painting!
