Bronze plaquette from the early 17th century depicting Jesus among the doctors, from a series of 16 plaquettes illustrating the life and Passion of Christ, traditionally attributed to the workshop of the Augsburg goldsmith Mathäus Wallbaum (1554 - 1632).

Very fine example with framing molding, comparable to that of the collection of the Ritter von Molthein collection.
