Oil painting on hardboard by René Perrot depicting a view of Saint Tropez. Very interesting painting treated in a very dynamic and colorful way by this great artist of the 20th century. Painting signed lower left and label on the back locating the place St Tropez. René Perrot 1912 1979 was a very active artist working with tapestry cartoons, ceramics, drawing and painting. He was a friend, among others, of Jean Lurçat, Jean Vilar and Pablo Picasso. He worked in the south of France from the 1945s. Original gilded wood frame, dimensions 86 by 71 cm. Nice size allowing a beautiful chest of drawers or console. Excellent original condition. Possibility of sending in France and worldwide by secure and insured package with order tracking.
