Pair Of Lxvi Style Coffee Tables
Pair of Louis XVI style oval mahogany and mahogany veneer coffee tables (or bedside tables) dating from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. There is a drawer in the belt and the top is in white veined marble surrounded by an openwork brass gallery. Each table rests on four legs finished with bronze shoes.
The veneer is a little warped on one of the shelves and a piece of veneer is missing on one edge should be noted. Some old woodworm holes on one of the bedside tables, a few small stains on the marble and a slight defect on the back of one of the marbles should also be noted. The bronze shoes are not original.
