18th Century Saxony Porcelain Clock.

Superb and imposing Saxon porcelain clock from the 18th century, Louis XVI. This Saxon porcelain clock represents a woman wearing a long, draped dress with floral motifs. This floral theme is found in the form of a crown resting on her head, garlands on the dial or surrounding the column supporting the dial. The young woman's face is leaning on her right hand, her arm resting on the dial of the clock. The column on which the dial rests is decorated with rows of pearls that are also found on the front and on the right side of the base. This same base has landscapes on three of its faces. The two feet located at the back need to be reattached. One of the rows is missing a pearl. There is a "crack" on the base between the column and the character. Height at sight: 77 cm. Width of the base at sight: 43 cm. Depth of the base: 20 cm.
