Italian Screen composed of two elements of three leaves each, for a total of six panels. Wooden structure, leather stretched and painted by hand, decorated with rural scenes animated by people, herds, rural buildings and domestic animals. The painting presents a series of scenes organized in registers, with varied compositions: female and male figures, scenes of milking, resting, walking or exchange, often accompanied by cows, sheep, goats or poultry. A few accents of red and ochre punctuate the whole. The backgrounds alternate between rural architecture and vegetation. The decoration is enhanced with silver leaf, of which visible traces remain. The leather has an old crackle. The back of the panels is stretched with a beige canvas, framed in painted wood.
