This Art Nouveau lithographic metal tray was designed as a commemorative plaque - memorial for the 75th anniversary of Belgian independence, depicting the retreat of the Dutch Hussars. (1830 - 1905). The attack on the park by the Flanders Gate volunteers. This antique tin tray is over 117 years old. and has survived two world wars!
