"Shooting Association Dagger By Alcoso"
Rare WW2 Shooting Association dagger made by Alcoso. Typical white plastic-covered wooden grip with the crossed rifles grip emblem. The grip has multiple cracks, as seen on most of these daggers. Note that the grip is very fragile! Aluminum pommel and screw with slight screwing damage. Nickel-plated cross guard in great condition. Clamshell with the Shooting Association logo inlaid with black enamel: “Deutscher Schützen-Verband.”
Double-etched steel blade stamped on the backside with the Alcoso logo. Light corrosion near the tip of the blade. The red felt buffer pad is in place. Black leather “soft shell” scabbard with nickel-plated steel fittings held on by staples on the backside. Corrosion on the bottom fitting.
