A scene of field work in Mexico, 20th century, by Mexican artist David Cardenas, set in a landscape of arid fields and traditional Mayan houses with thatched roofs. A man is also working the land on the left. The women, as well as the man, are wearing loose, white robes to protect against the heat. Beautiful oil painting.
